Methi Thepla
Thepla is a very famous gujarati roti/bread which you can serve with tea, curd or pickle. It can carried as snack in travelling and picnic.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fennugreek leaves finely chopped
- 1 cup wheat floor
- 2 table spoon gram floor (besan)
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili powder
- 2 teaspoon green chili-ginger paste
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoon oil
- water as required
Method
- Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl and knead into stiff dough.
- Divide the knead dough into medium sized balls.
- Roall each boll into round shape roti.
- Heat tava on mediem flame and cook each roti (Thepla) on a medium heat with 1 tea spoon oil till both sides turns golden brown.
